Common Law Admission Test is a National Level entrance examination conducted for admission in graduate and post graduate programs in fourteen NLUs. Eligibility Criteria:
For under graduate courses: Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognised board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate and should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July, 2014 (22 years in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates).

For post graduate courses: LL.B/B. L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.
The candidates who are appearing or have appeared in the qualifying degree examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.
Application Fee:
The fees to be remitted while submitting the Online Application Form of CLAT-2014 for General/OBC/PWD and other category candidates is Rs. 4,000/- (for SC and ST category candidates it is Rs. 3,500/-), excluding the bank charges.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Five Year B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)
Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2014 can also apply and candidate’s age must be below 21 years as on 01-07-2014.
For L.L.M.
LL.B. or an Equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). The candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April/May, 2014 can also apply. 
For Ph.D.
LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability).
Exam Pattern:
The AILET 2014 entrance exam will comprise 150 multiple choice objective type questions to be solved in a time span of 90 minutes. Questions will be from varied topics such as English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Mathematics. Prepare for these tests @

Two Additional Attempts for UPSC’s Civil Services Examination from 2014



Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Govt. of India has just released a notice mentioning that Government has approved “two additional attempts to all  categories of candidates w.e.f. Civil Services Examination 2014, with consequential age relaxation of maximum age for all categories of candidates, if required.
There is no restriction on number of attempts by a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) and a candidate belonging to Other Backward Class is allowed to attempt Civil services examination as many as seven times.
