UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2014: CMS Notification

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)  in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Dept. of Health) has announced the dates for Combined  Medical Services Exam (CMS) – 2014 for recruitment of various vacancies in medical department of Government Organizations. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for CMS and prepare for the exam @ TCYonline.com.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

Candidate must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1^st January, 2014 i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1982. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to reservation category.

Educational Qualification:

A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S. Examination may also apply.

Application Fee:

·         Rs 200/- for Gen/OBC category candidates.

·         Nil for Female/ SC/ST/PH category candidates.

Scheme of Examination:

Part –I: Written Examination of 500 marks which will consists of two Papers, each carrying a maximum of 250 marks.

Part II: Personality Test of 100 marks for those candidates who qualify on results of written examination.
How to Apply:

·         Candidate need to visit official website of UPSC @ www.upsconline.nic.in

·         Candidate will have to complete the online application form containing two stages Part I and Part II.

·         The Candidate is require to pay application fee of Rs. 200 by online or offline method.

·         Candidate will also have to upload his/her scanned photograph and signature during the process of registration.
