UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2014: CMS Notification

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)  in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Dept. of Health) has announced the dates for Combined  Medical Services Exam (CMS) – 2014 for recruitment of various vacancies in medical department of Government Organizations. Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

Candidate must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1^st January, 2014 i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1982. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to reservation category.

Educational Qualification:

A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S. Examination may also apply.

Application Fee:

·         Rs 200/- for Gen/OBC category candidates.

·         Nil for Female/ SC/ST/PH category candidates.

Scheme of Examination:

Part –I: Written Examination of 500 marks which will consists of two Papers, each carrying a maximum of 250 marks.

Part II: Personality Test of 100 marks for those candidates who qualify on results of written examination.
How to Apply:

·         Candidate need to visit official website of UPSC @ www.upsconline.nic.in

·         Candidate will have to complete the online application form containing two stages Part I and Part II.

·         The Candidate is require to pay application fee of Rs. 200 by online or offline method.

·         Candidate will also have to upload his/her scanned photograph and signature during the process of registration.

NCHMCT JEE 2014 Entrance Exam for B.Sc Hospitality & Hotel Management 2014-15

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and Indira Gandhi National Open University are conducting National Level Joint Entrance Exam for various Hotel Management courses. NCHMCT JEE 2014 scores will be accepted by 21 Central Institutes, 14 State Government Institutes and 15 private institutes of Hotel Management.

Eligibility Criteria:

A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Those appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply for JEE on provisional basis. The admission will be cancelled if the proof of having passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent is not presented at the time of counseling or admission.
